A studio of
variations.

Veryation is an independent studio building and operating a portfolio of digital properties — a theme sustained across live music, developer tools, and education. One mind, many forms.

On the name.

A variation preserves the theme while discovering what the theme had yet to say.

Veryation is a deliberate respelling — very folded into variation. Read aloud, the two are indistinguishable. On the page, the shift is unmistakable.

In music, a theme and variations holds a single idea and examines it from every angle: accelerated, inverted, transposed, ornamented, stripped bare. Each variation is fully itself and fully the original. That is the structure of this studio.

Each property is an honest attempt at one clear idea. Together, they compose a larger work.

The practice.

— i —

Small and sharp

Each property answers one question well. No feature bloat, no roadmaps pretending to be strategies. A small site that works beats a big site that doesn’t.

— ii —

Durable over clever

Static files on a global edge. No framework-of-the-month. A site built in 2026 should still render correctly in 2036, without migration, without rebuild.

— iii —

Against dark patterns

No accounts unless required. No email walls. No consent-dialog theater. Affiliate relationships disclosed in plain language, as the FTC prefers and as readers deserve.

For conversations, collaborations,
and the occasional quiet question.
